The Ägais stab-proof arm shield combines a large protection area with an exceptionally compact carrying solution. It was developed for situations where additional protection against knife attacks may be required at very short notice.

The protection surface of Ägais uses the same proven stab-proof system as our Professional Series products. The individual protection elements form a flexible and resistant structure that adapts to the wearer’s movements and remains significantly more flexible than conventional rigid shields.

With a size of 42 × 22 cm, Ägais provides a substantial protection barrier while weighing only approx. 670 g. When folded, the arm shield can be stored in the included belt pouch, which measures only approx. 25 × 10 × 11 cm. The total weight including the pouch is approx. 950 g.

This allows Ägais to be carried directly on the body without the need to permanently carry a large or rigid protection shield. When required, the arm shield can be removed from the pouch and positioned on the arm within a short time.

The arm attachment keeps Ägais securely in position and allows it to be used actively for blocking, shielding and maintaining distance. At the same time, the hand remains free and the protected arm retains a high degree of mobility.

Depending on how it is positioned, the shield can protect not only the arm but can also be placed between an attacker and particularly vulnerable areas of the body. This allows it to provide additional shielding for the upper body, neck or face.

Ägais is particularly suitable for security personnel, enforcement services, operational personnel and other professional users who may be confronted with aggressive individuals or knife attacks. It can be used as a standalone protection solution or as a useful addition to a stab-proof vest.

As with our protection vests, the focus of Ägais is on combining protection, flexibility and minimal restriction of movement.
