The tactical stab-proof vest Thor Professional is a robust overt vest featuring certified stab protection and a modular equipment configuration. It has been specifically developed for the operational requirements of security and public order personnel, combining protection, functionality and wearing comfort for professional use.

The outer carrier is made of 100% polyester and constructed as a durable, breathable mesh fabric. This design supports effective air circulation and enhances comfort during extended operations. The protection panels consist of a multi-layer composite of carbon fibre epoxy laminates and high-performance aramid fabric. This construction provides reliable protection against knives, needles, screwdrivers and other pointed objects, as well as resistance to blunt force impacts such as strikes or kicks. The protection elements remain flexible, dimensionally stable and moisture-resistant.

Depending on size, the weight of the Thor Professional ranges from approximately 2.2 kg to 3.2 kg.

A distinctive feature is the continuous protection zone in the front area: despite the practical front zipper, the chest and abdominal region remain fully protected without interruption. The adjustable side fastening system allows individual fitting to different body shapes and operational requirements, ensuring a secure and stable fit.

The protection panels are generously dimensioned and provide comprehensive coverage of the chest, abdomen, flanks and back. The overall construction ensures balanced weight distribution and a high degree of freedom of movement during operations.

For enhanced functionality, the Thor Professional features extensive hook-and-loop areas and modular attachment options for mounting equipment, identification or patches. Circumferential reflective strips and reflective shoulder markings further increase visibility in low-light conditions.

The protection panels are removable, allowing the carrier platform to be cleaned separately. The protection panels are manufactured in Remscheid – Made in Germany – and certified according to VPAM KDIW 2004 – Level K1. They represent consistently high quality and reliable protective performance for professional use.
