The High-visibility stab-proof vest Orion Professional is a robust outer-wear vest with certified stab protection and maximum visibility. It was developed for professional use in safety-critical and complex working environments and combines protection, visibility and wearing comfort.

The outer carrier is made of 100% polyester and features a breathable spacer fabric construction. This supports effective air circulation and increases wearing comfort even during extended operations. The protection panels consist of a multi-layer composite made of carbon fiber–epoxy resin laminates combined with high-strength aramid fabric. This construction provides reliable protection against knives, needles and other pointed objects, as well as protection against blunt force impacts. The protection elements remain flexible, dimensionally stable and moisture-resistant.

Depending on size, the Orion Professional weighs approximately 2.1 kg to 3.4 kg.

The specialized overlapping scale structure ensures high flexibility and large-area protection coverage while maintaining low weight. Compared to vests with rigid protection layers, the Orion Professional provides significantly improved freedom of movement. The protection area can be extended with optional side protection.

The neon yellow carrier with circumferential reflective strips ensures excellent visibility during daytime, low-light conditions, and nighttime operations, making the High-visibility stab-proof vest Orion Professional particularly suitable for traffic-related or high-risk environments.

For enhanced functionality, the High-visibility stab-proof vest Orion Professional features multiple pockets and hook-and-loop areas for equipment such as radios, body cameras, identification badges or patches. A large rear pocket allows additional equipment to be carried. The durable, breathable mesh fabric reduces heat buildup and supports high wearing comfort – even during extended operations.

The protection panels are removable, allowing the carrier platform to be cleaned separately. The protective panels are manufactured in Germany – Made in Germany – and are certified according to VPAM KDIW 2004 – Level K1.
